Black
Tell friend “I bet I can make you say black”. When and if this person agrees tell him/her to repeat after you. You say red, they say red, you say purple, they say purple (you get the picture). Leave the color blue last and when they say blue say “I told you I could make you say blue!” and they’ll say “no you said you could make me say black.” After they say that say “Aha! I told you I could make you say black!”
Plate through handle cup
Tell your audience that you can push a plate through the handle of a cup. When someone asks you to show them, put your finger through the handle of the cup and push the plate.
Water Bet
Put a glass of water under a hat and place it all on the table. Bet someone you can drink all the water without touching the hat. Go under the table and make sounds like your drinking. Come back out and tell the person to check under the hat. After they pick up the hat, grab the glass and drink the water.
Eleven Fingers
Tell your friends that you have eleven fingers, and you can prove it! Using your right forefinger to point with, touch each finger of your left hand, counting “One, two, three, four, five”. Then with your left forefinger count the fingers on your right hand, “Six, seven, eight, nine, ten”. Say “Funny, I know I had eleven. Let’s try again”. This time count backwards, pointing to the fingers of the left hand say “Ten, nine, eight, seven, six…”. Then stop, hold up the right hand and say “Plus five equals eleven!”. Do this quickly, without pausing!
Multi-color Pencil
Tell your spectator “I have a pencil that can write any color you call out”. After he names a color, on a piece of paper, literally write the color he just said
Name any card to
Before hand, turn all the cards face up except the top one. When a friend comes over, tell him that you can name any card they cut to. Hold the cards with the one face down card on top in the palm of your hand, so when they cut the cards, you will see their card
Easy mentalist
For the setup to this trick, put the two of hearts, with the face to your back, under your belt behind you. In performance, have the deck shuffled and returned to you. Put the deck behind your back and put the two of hearts on the face of the deck and turn the top card of the deck face up. Bring the deck in front of you (with the indifferent card facing you) and say “two of hearts”. When you say that, memorize the card that is facing you. Put the deck back behind you and move the top card to the bottom, turn over the next card on top of the deck and repeat
