EFFECT: You take a coin and show it to everyone. You toss it from hand to hand and ask them to guess which hand it is in. They guess right, so you say you make it harder. So you put it into your left hand and ask them where it is, they say left, but you open it and it is not there. You say fine, let’s make it very easy. So you place the coin in the right hand and hold it up, close your hands, and ask which hand is it in. They say right, but when you open it, it’s not there. The kicker is it is not in either hand anymore.

Effect: Obtain a normal 2 sided coin from someone. (The smaller the coin the better). Place the coin in your palm of your right hand, on the left side. Show that the coin is heads. Place your right hand over your left, so the LEFT side of your right palm is directly over the RIGHT side of your left palm. You turn your hand over onto your left hand. Move your right hand away. The coin now appears in your left hand. Yet the coin is still on heads!!

Effect:
Two toothpicks are shown. The magician claims that because wood is a poor conductor, the only type of electricity that can go through it is static electricity. The magician takes one toothpick and puts it on the edge of the table, leaving about half of it extending over the edge. He now takes the second toothpick and rubs it against his sleeve, claiming that it will generate electricity. He slowly takes this toothpick and carefully touches the toothpick that’s hanging over the edge of the table. This toothpick jumps about a foot in the air, demonstrating the static electricity.

Secret:

You need two toothpicks for this trick. On of them is placed on the table so that it hangs over the table. Hold the second toothpick between your right thumb and index finger, with the middle finder on the underside of the toothpick.

Effect:
The magician puts 1 or 4 cards under his hand. He slowly lifts his hand and the cards float with his hand. Holding his hand above the table, the magician pulls the card of his hand and drops the on the table.
Things needed: ring, matchstick, card(s)

EFFECT
An annoying person returns from the toilet to find that their bottle of soda has been turned upside down without any soda falling out.
The bottle is then handed to them when the soda spills all over the place

PREPARATION
You need
A packet of cigarettes
A full bottle of soda
A soda mat
Sharp scissors or a knife
A fast pair of running shoes.
