Hole in the Pocket
EFFECT: You ask to borrow a nickle from someone. You tell them to mark it so they will recognize it in the future. Then, you begin to start telling them about the hole in your right trouser pocket. You place the coin in the pocket and continue talking. Then you say there is a hole in your left pocket and the right pocket contains no holes, but int contains a warp into your left pocket. By this time, your audience should be a little confused. So, you explain that since you put the coin into your right pocket, it will warp into your left pocket and fall through the hole. At this you lift up your left leg and there is their nickle.
ITEMS NEEDED FOR TRICK: You need a nickle and a pen or marker for marking the nickle.
SECRET SETUP AND PREFORMANCE: Before you begin the trick, place your own nickle under your left foot. You are now ready. Ask someone for a nickle, when you get it, put it into your right pocket and begin telling your story of the hole and warp. After telling your story, lift up your left foot to show the coin has traveled, down there magically. I know what you are thinking, “What about the mark?” Well, you pick up the coin and place it into your pocket and say, “Thanks for the nickle!” Then say, “Just kidding, here you go.” This is only a diversion, when you put the nickle into your pocket, switch it with their nickle.
